Robert Sansone was born in 1970 on Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska, starting a life filled with travels and adventures due to his military upbringing. Growing up with a military father, he had the opportunity to live in three different foreign countries—Iran, England, and Germany—immersing himself in diverse cultures and experiences.

A Scholar's Path

Robert's passion for learning and problem-solving led him to the University of Texas at Brownsville, where he pursued a degree in Mathematics. Here, he honed his analytical skills and established a solid foundation for his future pursuits.

Service in the Air Force

In 1998, a strong sense of duty and adventure prompted Robert to join the United States Air Force. Over the next nine years, he dedicated himself to the development of cutting-edge aircraft and satellite systems. His service took him to Wright Patterson Air Force Base from 1998 to 2001 and later to Los Angeles Air Force Base from 2001 to 2007.

A Transition to Civilian Life

In 2007, Robert decided to transition from military service to the world of contracting. His expertise in aerospace technology made him a valuable asset as he contributed to various projects, specializing in satellite systems development.

A Career in Consulting

Seeking to further challenge himself and broaden his horizons, Robert embarked on a consulting career with Ernst & Young (EY) in 2012. In this role, he leveraged his knowledge to perform risk assessments, providing valuable insights and solutions for clients.

Continuing the Journey

In 2014, Robert returned to government contracting, where he continued to contribute his expertise to the development of advanced satellite systems. His dedication to excellence and innovation remained unwavering.

A Proud Colorado Resident

Robert made Colorado his permanent home in 2016. Today, he continues to thrive as an accomplished professional, combining his analytical prowess, military background, and consulting experience to make a positive impact on the aerospace and defense industries.

A Loving Family Man

Beyond his professional endeavors, Robert finds immense joy in his role as a husband and father. In 2005, he married Shannon Scanlan, a clinical psychologist, and together they have two wonderful boys, Sage (15) and Finnley (12). As a family, they relish exploring the beauty of Colorado's landscapes and creating cherished memories together.
